II. Core competence
a. To appreciate and apply the religion teaching he holds.
a. To Appreciate and to apply polite action, discipline, responsive, care(team work, tolerate, peace), polite and active and showing attitude as part of solution for every problems in interacting effectively in the environment of social and nature and in bringing self in relation to the world.
a. Understand and application the knowledgement (factual, conceptual, and procedural) based on their wish about the science of knowledgement, technology, art and social relate to the phenomenon.
III. Basic Competence
a. To appreciate the change that had to learn English as an Internatiol language.
b. Understanding the social function, text structure, and language feature in written and oral text in doing Report Text.
c. Arranging own written and oral text in making a Report Text related to the student’s daily life and with a good language feature related to the context.
d. Catch the meaning in short report text, and written, short and simple.

VI. Material of the Study
Report Text
-Definition             :    Report is a text which presents information about something. It is as a  
                                    Result of systematic observation and analyses.
-Purpose                 :   To describe the way things are, with reference to a range of natural,
                                    man-   mode  
                                     and social phenomena in our environmet.
-Generic Structure   :  1. General classification : Tells what the phenomenon under discussion is.
                                   2. Description : tells the details of topic such as physical appearance,
                                       parts (and their function), qualities, habits or behaviors.
-Language Features : - Focus on Generic Participants
·                                       -The use of relating verbs
·                                       - The use of present tense
·                                                                -The use of behavioral verbs
·                                                                -The use of technical terms

      Example of reports text:
Coconuts.
Do you know coconuts ? erm .. well today, i’d like to tell you coconuts. Coconuts is a popular kind of fruit , that is produced bay a tall palm tall that grows in tropical areas.  Which has a large fibrous husk. It has smooth green, reddish, or yellow skin. Inside the nut  there is thick white meat that surrounds a central cavity. When it is still fresh, the cavity is filled with liquid. The liquid tastes and smells special.
    The young fresh of the white meat and the liquid can be make into many kinds of delicious drinks. However, when it is old and the meat hardens, the flesh can be squeezed for coconut milk that is useful for many purpose. The milk can be for making cakes, drinks, dish, etc.
The tree has unique parts, all of which are useful. The leaves can be for mat, roof, broom and  so on. The trunk can be for wood logs of many purposes. The tree can also be carved for ornaments and handicrafts. In short, the fruit and the tree are all useful for human beings .
There are many varieties of coconut, which have specific tastes and uses. The liquid of some coconuts can be for polson neutralizer. The sizes are also various : small, medium and large. Coconut trees are planted and grow in tripics therefore in such countries as indonesia, malaisya, and the neighboring countries there are thousand of coconut trees.
